Lead Infrastructure Architects

12+12+12 Month Contract with large Federal Government DepartmentACT, South Canberra, Hybrid (some WFH)NV1 clearance requiredSenior Infrastructure Architects / Engineering Experts are required by our large Federal Government Client.
They will be accountable for the design, implementation, and operation of the agency's Data Centre network infrastructure including Cisco ACI, Cisco Nexus, F5, network appliances and associated routing and switching.In performing a leadership role, Senior Infrastructure Architects / Engineering Experts identify and drive innovation, manage and lead change, and have an active role in contributing to, and implementing the agency's strategic direction.Key duties and responsibilities: Plan and manage infrastructure requirements to meet future infrastructure demand.Ensure the provision of infrastructure related operational support for hardware, software and other assets.Define effective procedures for prioritisation and escalation of infrastructure issues to ensure timely resolution.Communicate end-to-end implications of configuration changes.Proactively share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter expert, and provide assistance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues.Negotiate with suppliers and third-party vendors in the purchase of technology equipment.Oversee team contribution to cost analysis activities.Oversee, review and advise on a range of technical documentation including design documentation, implementation plans, test plans, and support procedures.Technical skills: Experience in the development of network high-level designs and detailed designs.Experience in the design, management and maintenance of large or enterprise scale data centre networking and ACI environments.Extensive experience in creating and deploying ACI configuration.Knowledge in ACI network automation and programming languages.Highly developed diagnostic and problem-solving skills.To apply for this position please click apply to send your CV and interest in the role.
