Retail Life Insurance Delivery Manager

They are enabled by Shared Services teams that have a large portfolio of responsibilities. Technology (IT), Sustainability, Agile & Continuous Improvement, and Strategy & Strategic Execution form a portfolio.Reporting to the Head of Strategic Execution, the Retail Life Insurance Delivery Manager ensures efficient delivery within a business segment by driving teams towards delivery objectives, mitigating risks, managing dependencies, and fostering collaboration across squads and crews, and/or enterprise shared service functions.You will own the segment delivery plan, including timelines, deliverables, milestones, and relevant tracking, reporting, and delivery insights. By fostering an environment of continuous improvement, feedback, and team empowerment, the Segment Delivery Manager significantly contributes to the overall success of our organisation, aligned with the Zurich Way, our Agile and Value Driven Delivery framework.Let's create a brighter future together, let's make a differenceIn order to be successful in the role, you will have the following:Tertiary qualifications including certified Scrum MasterUnderstanding of and application of Agile methodologies, tools, and techniques at scale.Understanding of Product Management with AgileDemonstrated track record of continuous improvement and problem-solving capabilities.Proficient in using delivery management tools (according to CI/CD and DevSecOps best practices) with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, and Bitbucket.Highly proficient in independent issue resolution and innovative problem-solving, with strong leadership skills and the ability to proactively manage expectations for delivery success.Demonstrated ability to consolidate and coordinate team delivery plans using agile practices and mindsets. Knowledgeable in information management practices, system development life cycle, IT services, and agile/lean methodologies.Experience working within enterprise-level digital transformationExperience in managing and coordinating software release cycles (preferred)Belong.
