Location: Wallsend or Cameron Park76 hours per fortnight, with a combination of support shifts and administration workHands on training, development and mentoring with an inclusive Organisation.Who are we? Supported Independent Living As a SIL provider, Songbird offers disability accommodation and daily life assistance so that participants can achieve as much independence as possible.
We provide 24/7 supported living homes throughout the Hunter region, including Maitland, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock and beyond

A Certificate III or higher in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care, or be enrolled in your second year of study towards your higher qualification in a relevant field (required)1 years' experience within the Health, Care and/or Disability industry (required) (behaviours and mental health experience preferred)Demonstrated leadership capability:Effective communication and negotiation skillsTeam-focused approachGood problem solving skills and attention to detailExperience working with participants that have both behavioural and medical needsA Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (required)NDIS Worker Screen Check (required)Valid Australian Driver Licence (Red Provisional – minimum) (required).Why work for us?
