Senior Support Professional - Supported Independent Living (SIL)Full time role available for an experienced support professionalThe role We help people with disability become more independent, in their own homes and the community.
Active support: develop personal interests, provide personal care, transportation and coach independent living skillsHealth support: administer and document medication and follow health support plansPositive behaviour support: manage behaviour triggers and escalationSafeguarding: ensure safety of you and the participant, documentation and reportsAbout you Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disabilityAdvanced Diploma in Individual Support/Disability or equivalentAvailable to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnightsExperience with different behavioursNDIS Worker CheckNational Police CheckDriver's licenseFirst aid certificateWe offer Competitive hourly rate (DSEAV) based on qualificationSalary packaging - $15,900 for general and $2,650 for entertainmentPaid training and opportunities for career development24/7 crisis and incident response supportFree confidential counselling supportAll required PPEAbout us We provide services to people with disability, young people and children in out-of-home care, their families and communities.
