Job Title: Regional Sales Manager Australia Vic / SaPurpose: To promote and expand sales of Argus products to the Food Processing and Meat Industry, to existing and prospective customer base throughout the designated territory, to achieve the sales budget and required sales levels.Specific Duties & Responsibilities:Call on existing and prospective customers in the designated territory to promote the company's products and services.Maintain contact with customers in relation to their requirements.Inform customers of supply and price trends and assist in inventory control.Keep informed on new products and other general market information of interest and value to customers.Secure and renew orders, determine price within the guidelines.Arrange delivery dates and other matters to facilitate sales.Follow up complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.Maintain a sales programme within the territory based on customer's estimated requirements and sales targets.Check on competitive activity and report significant developments to management.Manage the territory in a professional manner and maintain company profile.Meet budgeted sales targets.Promote Argus in accordance to the marketing plan and strategies.Assist with any customer problems.Preparation of monthly reports to General Manager to a high standard by agreed date in approved format.
Report to include sales, customers, bad debts, new prospects and competitor analysis.General Duties & Responsibilities:Be punctual and work the hours and times specified.Prioritise workload to ensure work of the greatest importance to the business is undertaken with urgency and to a high standard.Support and help develop a positive workplace culture.Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills.Responsibly manage all business resources within accountability levels.Undertake all duties and responsibilities outlined in this Job Description and all other duties as required by the business.Comply with all employment obligations.Promptly undertake to complete all reasonable and lawful instructions and directions given.Serve the business in good faith, promoting and protecting the business' best interests.During work time, and such other times as may be reasonably required, dedicate all effort to the execution and fulfilment of the duties, responsibilities, obligations and instructions related to employment.Demonstrate through own actions a commitment to Health and Safety at work when undertaking work or observing others in the workplace.Skills, Experience & Education:Experience in the Food Processing Industry, preferably butchery, engineering or food manufacturing experience.Sound knowledge of sales techniques.Well-developed planning, organisation and communication skills.Strong results focus.Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to develop strong external networks.Thorough knowledge of company products and services.Computer literacy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
