Join a Leading Government Agency as a Content Designer
Key Highlights: Exciting opportunity with a highly regarded National Regulatory Body Flexible working arrangements (Hybrid, with the option to work remotely) Initial labour hire contract through to end of June, with potential for extension Contribute to user-focused content and digital transformation initiatives Competitive remuneration based on experience We are seeking an experienced Content Designer to join a Digital Engagement and Experience team, responsible for designing and delivering accessible, user-centric content across internal and external digital platforms.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for delivering high-quality content that meets user needs, enhances customer experience, and aligns with organisational objectives.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders to design and deliver content that is accessible and user-friendly, with a particular focus on digital platforms such as Drupal and SharePoint .
You will bring your expertise in content writing, editing, and digital service design to enhance the agency's online presence and support digital transformation projects.
Commencing ASAP, this is a labour hire contract initially through to the end of the financial year, with the potential to extend.
Central Canberra, Melbourne or Brisbane location with hybrid work from home flexibility for the right candidate.
Attractive hourly rate negotiable commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop accessible, user-centred content for digital products and services Use Drupal and SharePoint to publish and manage digital content Advocate for best practice content design and develop templates, guidelines, and recommendations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure digital content aligns with user needs and the organisation's strategic objectives Apply the Digital Service Standard and WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA to all content design work Provide recommendations for content architecture and information design to improve user experience Manage stakeholder relationships effectively and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, changing environment What We Are Looking For: Minimum 3 years' experience in designing and developing user-centred content for digital products and services in a government or corporate environment Proficiency with web content management systems , especially Drupal and SharePoint Strong understanding of Digital Service Standard , Agile methodology , and WCAG 2.0/2.1 AA accessibility standards Experience in content strategy, information architecture, and digital service design Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex content design concepts to diverse stakeholders Strong attention to detail , organisational skills , and time management capabilities Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, build relationships, and work independently Experience in a rapid change environment is highly desirable Why Apply with Hudson?
