About the Role Develop, recommend and implement quality assurance programmes to ensure statutory and contractual compliance with quality requirements across the NSW/ACT Building projects.
This position would suit a current Foreman/Supervisor looking to move into the quality space driving quality compliance across all NSW/ACT projects or someone who has worked in a similar role on large scale projects.
Responsibilities of the role include: Ensure that the project's conforms with ISO and AS/NZS regulatory / legal requirementsIdentify, manage and monitor quality objectives, requirements, risks and other issues that may adversely impact the surety of successful project deliveryProvide guidance and support to the project leadership team to develop and maintain a quality culture that drives business improvementEnsure that the workplace maintains robust risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with qualityProvide technical quality expertiseEnsure that the workplace understands and meets its regulatory and legal obligations as they relate to qualityProvide leadership and mentoring to quality staffUnderstand compliance and reporting procedures and processes and demonstrate leadership in the communication of requirementsWhat we are looking for: Advanced Diploma or Lead Auditor Qualification in Engineering, Science, Building, Construction, Quality Management or Project ManagementExperience in a quality management roleQuality assurance experience gained within the construction, transport or related industriesExperience in developing and managing project QA management systemsWhat's in it for you when you join John Holland?
