Your new company Join a local council in western Sydney, offering a 1-year daily rate contract to join as a Lead BI Business Analyst, bringing a blended hands-on and leadership approach to the business.
Your new role Join a team and organisation with a large pipeline of work, currently 17 projects confirmed including a large scale telematics program.
The Lead BI Business Analyst will be providing from the data side, data modelling, data analysis, data warehousing, building dashboards, and scheduling Power BI reports.
From the Lead / Functional requirements side, they will provide technical expertise, including thought-provoking thinking and solutioning with vendor teams and internally within the project team.
What you'll need to succeed Demonstrated experience in business analysis including data collection and complex data analysis, benchmarking, requirements gathering and evaluation, and workflow and business process design.Extensive hands-on experience and technical understanding of platforms and solutions (connected units, web and mobile platforms).Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make recommendations based on analysis of business requirements and needs.Experience in integration of back-end systems and external services (cloud).Comfortable working with raw data sets as part of data discovery.Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience in a multivendor and stakeholder environment.Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office suite with advanced skills in Excel.Excellent communication and written skills, with the ability to mentor others and foster strong vendor and customer relationships.What you'll get in return Join a council providing a 12 month contract with view for extension, 3-4 days on site with parking available, competitive rates, and a large pipeline of exciting transformative projects.
