If you're ready for an exciting challenge, ARA, a rapidly expanding national company in Australia and New Zealand, wants you on board as our State Manager in QLDAbout the roleThe State Manager plays a crucial role in aligning ARA's operations with its business and strategic plans.
Your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and profitable execution of all contracts and portfolios within your designated state and/or territory.
As the State Manager, you will oversee all operations staff under your portfolio, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements, profitability targets, and legislative requirements.
Your role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless transition of work, adherence to contract specifications, and utmost client satisfaction.
Key objectives include enhancing portfolio efficiency, controlling service quality, strengthening client relations, staff development, and fostering collaboration across all portfolios.Duties include (but are not limited to):Ensure portfolio profitability by monitoring P&L reports and providing ongoing updates to the Regional Operations Manager.Manage and ensure the efficient operations of your designated portfolio.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing concerns and identifying opportunities for upselling services.Manage operations-related correspondence, client feedback, and operational budgets in coordination with ARA's Finance and Customer Service Teams.Oversee periodic projects and strengthen ARA's management systems and oversee Quality Assurance, Health and Safety, Asset Management, People and Contract Compliance.Supervise operations staff, ensure contract compliance, and build a safe working environment for employees to grow and contribute as a team.Manage inventory and equipment across portfolios, ensuring compliance with safety standards and efficient use.Facilitate training and oversee contract setup, quality standards, and staff discipline.Adhere to legal and company standards while promoting ethical behaviour.About youAt ARA, we value individuals who constantly strive for excellence, maintain a continuous improvement mindset, and remain adaptable to challenges.
