We are taking a more targeted approach to identifying, assessing and solving physical and mental risks.Reporting to the National WHS and Compliance Manager, you will play a critical role in providing safety, health and wellbeing specialist advice and technical support to assist regions/sites in implementing and managing requirements of the Linfox Corporate Safety Management System.As the Regional Safety Manager, you will also assist the National WHS/Compliance Manager in the development of initiatives and programs for the continual improvement of workplace safety, health and wellbeing across the Government and Defence Business Unit.
Key areas:Providing WHS specialist advice and technical support to ensure regional/site operations and activities are conducted in compliance with applicable federal and state/territory laws, regulations and the Linfox Safety Management SystemUndertaking risk assessments of more complex tasks and assist the region/sites to develop action plans that address identified key risks and implement appropriate and effective risk controlsDirectly support investigations into workplace incidents/accidents to ensure qualityManagement of the regional internal WHS audit program and providing advice and support to sites to prepare for internal/external auditsEnsuring appropriate compilation, analysis and reporting of workplace injury/ illness statisticsSupporting and coaching operational managers/supervisors to ensure their individual WHS roles, responsibilities and expectations are understoodAre you the one?This role is an outstanding opportunity to take the next step and play an integral role in the G&D business unit.
