Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurses to join our Anaesthetics department on a Part Time basis – 64 hour a fortnight, a rotating roster including AM and PM shifts with an on-call requirement overnight and weekends.

Our Registered Nurse - Anaesthetic deliver exceptional, best practice nursing care to ensure excellent clinical outcomes and an industry leading patient experience.
You will take a leadership role in the coordination of nursing care and work in partnership with Enrolled Nurses (ENs) providing supervision, direction and guidance.

As a Registered Nurse - Anaesthetics your responsibilities will include: · Deliver evidence-based nursing care · Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team · Ensure patient and staff safety · Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient · Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology · Communicate relevant patient information to the other members of the intra-operative team, both nurses and doctors · Assist with intra-operative patient monitoring and ensure the patient's safety, comfort and warmth · Work directly with the anaesthetist for the duration of the procedure, and assist with patient care as the patient emerges from the effects of anaesthesia Essential Criteria: Current Registration with AHPRA Minimum 1 years anaesthetic essential Post Graduate Certificate in Perioperative Nursing (or working towards) Commitment to Quality Patient Care Compliance with ACSQHC National standards Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Works well independently and within a team Why Healthscope?
