We're on a growth trajectory and with our Daily Banking Transformation Initiative up and running we're on the hunt for a number of Data Analysts who have specialist skills in Product and Customer Analytics to join our growing Retail Bank
Please note these roles are for a fixed term contract of 12 months We're looking for someone with 3-5 years' experience in SAS and Tableau with expert level of SQL which is assessed during the interview process.
Python skills would give you an added advantage
You'll be accountable for producing analytics and insights which deliver material efficiency, risk and customer experience benefits.
You'll own the end-to-end development of analytics including requirements gathering, sourcing, and integrating data, building analytical models, publishing insights and data visualisation as well as the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of these assets.
You'll work closely with Senior Management, Tribes, and Process Leaders to execute a data driven optimisation strategy for business decisioning.

What you'll doDevelop analytics reporting to understand customer behaviour, channel use, customer segments, product value, social media and lifetime value and presenting these insights and recommended actions in an engaging wayUse complex data and tools to understand all aspects of process performance and explain performance trends to senior stakeholders and business partnersRecommend process improvements to senior stakeholdersUtilise best practice data visualisation techniques to powerfully convey insights and facilitate data discoveryDrive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within business units to improve service, reduce costs and manage risk within appetiteManage, coach and develop Reporting Analyst/s who support the day-to-day production of analytics assetsApply exceptional statistical knowledge to analyse data, generate insights, and build forecasting models to predict future trends and outcomesExplain complex analytical and technical details, including forecasting models and statistical concepts, in simple terms to business stakeholdersWhat we're looking forDegree qualification in a business, management, or finance disciplineAdvanced working knowledge of SQL / Teradata, SAS (Enterprise Guide and SAS Macros) and Excel is a must have – please note: SQL testing is a part of this recruitment processMinimum 5 years within an operational environment and 3-5 years' experience in development of metrics, analysis and modellingExcellent working knowledge of Tableau / Power BIExceptional business acumen, influencing skills, and the ability to produce insights with clear articulation of findings to stakeholders across the business and at all levels of management.
