Desktop Engineer

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support specialist for a 6 month + contract.
You will join the team in Sydney that support a large enterprise environment within Financial Services.
You will play a critical role in providing efficient and effective support to all end users consisting of PC's / Laptop / Mac's / Mobile Devices.
You will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, and delivering a high level of customer service.
In addition to BAU activities you will collect and preserve Electronically Stored Information from physical assets like Windows computers, MacBooks, and mobile devices and the disposal of data that meets the retention criteria.
Although previous eDiscovery experience is not essentially required, it is mandatory that you have an appreciation for the proper handling of sensitive data.
Key Responsibilities: Provide both on-site and remote support to end users in the Sydney CBD area.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software and connectivity.
Manage and maintain Active Directory, Windows 11, M365, Unified Telephony, and other related technologies.
Assist with remote connectivity and VPN setup and support.
Experience and or good knowledge in eDiscovery, Forensic Imaging and or Encryption tools with be highly advantageous.
Manage online inventory – digital assets Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless end-user experience.
Excellent communication, presentation skills and abilities.
Technical Skills: Active Directory.
Windows 11.
M365 management & support.
Experience in Private Cloud Storage.
Remote connectivity/VPN.
eDiscovery experience in highly advantageous.
