Cybersecurity ManagerSalary: 45,000 - 55,000 GBP per year
At EG Group, we are looking for a Cybersecurity Manager
Our tech stack:Support, Network, Security, Splunk
Requirements: Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of 2+ years in management.Understanding of emerging cyber requirements and cybersecurity threats.Broad and comprehensive technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and technologies, with operational technology knowledge as an added benefit.Experience working in an IT function and relevant field.Proven experience in the management and delivery of key cybersecurity projects.Demonstrated ability to collaborate for success with key business stakeholders.Experience managing and reporting project deliverables to senior management audiences.Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining an EDR/XDR solution (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Tanium).Proficiency in using, building, and maintaining a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) environment (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk).Strong organizational and project management skills.Excellent communication and reporting skills.Your responsibilities are: Manage and lead a team of cybersecurity engineers.Work closely with cyber personnel in other countries.Oversee the Security Operations Centre (SOC) function.Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Plan, implement, and oversee cybersecurity changes in a structured manner.Oversee security incident management and resolution processes.Maintain and update documentation of security incident playbooks, common practices, process flow diagrams, and the knowledge base.Manage workloads and projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.Report to senior management on the status of infrastructure projects and operations.Implement and maintain industry-standard cybersecurity controls, testing and evidencing the effectiveness of those controls on a regular basis.Location: Haslingden Road, Preston, United Kingdom
