About the team We've launched two automated Customer Fulfilment Centres (CFCs) in Melbourne and Sydney. The new CFCs will redefine the customer experience in online grocery shopping, providing customers with improved availability and freshness, a broader produce range and a seamless digital experience, while also providing a safer working environment for our team members. The new CFCs will be the first of their kind in Australia. Be part of a great team with the opportunity to work with innovative technology.
As our Sydney site ramps up, we have an opportunity for an experienced Shift Manager to join the team.
About the role This is an overnight position with shift times of 9PM - 5AM including required weekends. This role is integral in building a high performing team, being a good coach and ensuring that all the pieces on this journey are pulled together to deliver key outcomes. You will oversee shift KPI's with an emphasis on productivity and safety whilst creating an enjoyable workplace environment.
You will also:
Oversee the strategy implementation plan and drive our "On time and in full" objective across the businessBe a champion for safety and lead an operational safety-first cultureCreate and drive a highly customer-focused culture across the siteEnsure adequate resourcing and productivity is in place to meet sales demandCreate and drive a high-performance culture through communicating performance objectives, empowering direct reports and supporting team members to achieve their career and development goalsCollaborate and influence key stakeholders across central operations and transformation teams to ensure change strategy alignmentFind ways to support continuous improvement initiatives of the site providing insight to key stakeholdersAbout you and your skills We're looking for a passionate Shift Manager that has a customer first focus, continuous improvement mindset and experience in organisational change management. You'll also need:
A successful track record of operational delivery and building successful teamsRelevant experience in supermarket operations or supply chainStrong leadership qualities including the right 'can do' attitudeAbility to adapt to a fast paced and changing environment, whilst ensuring key deliverables are metAbility to utilise key financial data and operational metrics to drive performance improvements and outcomesHave a clear vision of the change strategy that is delivered with a high degree of energy and passionHave a passion for people, engaging teams and developing team membersWhat's in it for you?Shift variety:We offer a variety of shift times including morning and afternoon shifts.Temperature controlled environment:Work comfortably in a climate-controlled space, ensuring you can focus on what you do best.PPE and uniform provided:No need to worry about what to wear.
