About the role:
The Clinical Trial Coordinator (Clinical Nurse Specialist) will work closely with the Director of Cellular Therapies, specialist doctors and researchers; CNCs and Clinical Care Coordinators, and laboratory staff to assist with and oversee recruitment of patients undergoing clinical research, including clinical trials, at St Vincent's Hospital, Sydney.
The focus of the work will be in the area of multiple myeloma.
The successful applicant will work as part of a team to improve access to research opportunities for patients at the institution through high quality research practice and data management.
The responsibilities include data collection, education and monitoring of patients on clinical trials and other clinical studies for multiple myeloma.
In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for data collection activities with relation to the Myeloma and Related Diseases Registry.

About you:
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Clinical Trial Coordinator (Clinical Nurse Specialist) who possesses a passion for person-centred care.

Selection Criteria:
Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency.
Relevant post-registration qualifications and at least three years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification.
Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team at a senior level.
Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development and demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated effective computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.
Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in their daily practice as a registered nurse.
Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment.
