Head Of Counselling | Part-Time Temporary

Details: Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Psychologist to co-head the CIT Counselling team.
This role provides counselling services, advice and assistance in supporting the strategic goals of the CIT.
The role may require working across CIT locations as required.

Eligibility/ Other Requirements: Applicants need to have:
Tertiary qualifications in PsychologyRegistration as a Psychologist under the Psychology Board of Australia/AHPRADemonstrated ability to conduct psychological assessment testing is desirable.A minimum of five years' experience as a counselling PsychologistDemonstrated experience supervising and leading a team of counsellorsAn understanding of counselling within the Vocational Education and Training sectorNote: This is a temporary part-time position available from 23 December 2024 for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
This position is for 14:42 hours per week (Monday and Tuesday).
The full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata plus ARIn's (Attraction and Retention Incentives) $4000 pro rata.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
