Start date: 17 Feb 2025 Contract length: 12 months initially long/term preferred Pay: Negotiable for the right candidate and experience between $35-45 per hour A fun and loving family in Whale Beach, NSW are seeking an experienced and caring, fun nanny to assist in the care of their 2-year-old boy.The family are also due a second baby arriving early 2025.
Normal days: 2 days per week Days & hours are: Wednesday: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday: 12:00 pm – 7:00 pm The family is looking for someone who is fun, caring, and has a bright personality with a can-do attitude.
A nanny that is interested in actively engaging in indoor and outdoor activities with the toddler, which will aid in his growth and development.
Someone who doesn't mind active boys and can be playful.
A nanny who is organised, trustworthy, responsible, and reliable, and can use initiative to get tasks set and done.
Prior experience/professional qualifications working with toddlers is highly advantageous for this role.
Mum will be at home with the newborn, so the role will involve keeping the toddler happy and content and assisting with household duties as described below.
The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows: To care for the toddlerFollow the toddler's routinePlan/play and engage in age-appropriate activities to assist in the toddler's developmentTake the toddler out to the park, supermarket, playgroup, etc.Light household duties: help with cooking and shopping for meals, help with laundry folding and sorting, and tidying up.The family's expectations from their nanny are: 3+ years of experience as a nanny or working in child careChildcare qualifications preferredHave a current first aid certificateHave a current Working With Children's CheckDisplay strong communication skills and speaks EnglishNon-smokingAble to cookAble to swim and be confident in the pool with a toddlerFull driver's license and own car preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
