The shift times required to work will be spread between 9:30am to 7:30pm and 9:30pm (Thursday to Saturday).
As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts.
You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).
Recruitment Process and Key Dates We require adequate availability, without holidays booked, during the peak trading period (from mid-October to March) for these positions.
If your application is successful, you may be invited to complete a video screening interview as part of the recruitment process.
If your application is progressed, you will be invited to attend an in-person interview with the hiring team.
About this work area As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
Supporting customers with their home furnishing (kitchens, living room storage or wardrobes) design process using the IKEA 3 D rendering software.
You will build strong relationships with the customer throughout their planning journey.
Following up on customers after initial planning appointments, via phone call to discuss their home furnishing designs, answer questions, and address any concerns.
Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.
Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Stay knowledgeable about in-store specials, delivery options, product features and benefits.
As Sales Co-worker you are or have: Passionate about learning and sharing the IKEA product range with customers.
A 'Togetherness' mindset where you'll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
A calm and confident approach along with strong communication and customer skills, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks.
You have proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA product range and systems.
A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive lifting.
