What you'd be doing in this role As Canva scales, change continues to be part of our DNA.
This role is focused on: Campaign orchestration and reporting: Organise and execute programs, unite stakeholders for seamless delivery.
Track and report campaign performance, offering valuable insights.
Drive operational efficiencies: Streamline campaign crafting and execution for improved launches and continuous enhancements.
Technical translation: Convert business requirements into actionable technical specs for Martech and Sales operations implementation.
Data segmentation: Utilise data sources, variables and categories to segment data effectively.
Nurturing strategies: Design and implement nurturing programs to facilitate healthy movement of leads across different lifecycle stages.
Operational expertise: Serve as the resident expert on audience segmentation, A/B testing, and defining success metrics.
Provide guidance to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Campaign monitoring and optimisation: Continuously monitor, analyse, and optimise campaigns to achieve defined goals.
Salesforce Reporting: Create reports and dashboards to offer visibility into marketing campaign effectiveness and demonstrate the ROI of marketing investments.
Campaign QA: Ensure operational compliance through pre-launch quality checks.
Lead-to-MQL Conversion: Collaborate with growth marketing to enhance conversion rates through data analysis and recommendations.
Marketing engine innovation: Evaluate tooling & processes for our B2 B and Education Marketing Engine, encompassing sales, education, partnership, events, and more.
Adaptable Environment: Embrace the dynamic nature of Canva and thrive in an environment where multiple projects run simultaneously.
Adaptability, prioritisation, and embracing the learning opportunities in a fast-growing company are vital.
You're probably a match if You possess deep commercial experience developing complex, distributed applications writing services in Java.
You possess disciplined coding practices, and experience with code reviews and pull requests.
You model best practices to your peers.
You have strong communication and team collaboration skills, both written and verbal.
A Canva engineer strives to understand the exact problem before jumping into writing code.
While not required, commercial experience with protocol buffers is an advantage.
All of our services are built on AWS.
While not required, commercial experience with AWS services like Dynamo DB, and SNS/SQS is an advantage.
About the team The mission of Canva's Mar Tech Group is to enable Marketing teams to accelerate their output, efficiencies and intelligence to drive meaningful business outcomes and magical experiences for our community.
As the operational governance arm, Mar Tech Ops' mission is to drive improvements in process, tooling and organisational structure.
This role will specifically support the B2 B, Education and Events operations domain, collaborating with the Growth Marketing, Sales Operations, Lifecycle, Events and Mar Tech teams to streamline cross-functional processes and seamlessly integrate them with marketing technology systems.
