Provide senior leadership along with the Nurse Unit Manager of Sterilisation Services and be responsible for the operational management of the Gold Coast Unit Hospital and Robina units.An opportunity has become available for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (Central Sterilising Department) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.You willManage rosters and staff leave for GCUH and Robina Sterilisation ServicesAssist with recruitment management of Sterilisation Services staffBackfill the Nurse Unit Manager role when required for operational supportSupervise the Central Sterilising Departments floor and work clinically in the unit as neededAbout youTo be successful in this position you will require:Bachelor of Nursing or equivalentRegistration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of AustraliaEvidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis BTuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be requiredDeclaration of serious discipline history must be disclosedCriminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)Base salary $121,352 per annum or $4,651.40 per fortnight.About UsThe Central Sterilisation Services within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service is provided by three main facilities at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina, and Varsity Lakes.
