Heads of Department & Teachers in Charge Empowering Excellence – Join the Academic Leadership Team at Tranby College
Tranby College, a leading independent Childcare to Year 12 school in Western Australia, is embarking on an exciting new chapter in its rich history.
We are thrilled to announce the creation of several Academic Leadership positions across key learning areas, designed to drive excellence in teaching and learning while empowering students and teachers alike.

We are seeking exceptional leaders to fill the following newly-established positions:
Senior Academic Leadership Positions:
Head of English and Languages Head of Health and Physical Education Head of Humanities and Social Sciences Head of Mathematics Head of Science Head of Technologies Teacher in Charge of Languages Teacher in Charge of Visual Arts The Opportunity
As part of our Academic Leadership Team , you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of teaching and learning at Tranby College.
You will:
Lead excellence in teaching by developing and implementing innovative, evidence-based programs tailored to the Western Australian Curriculum and WACE .
Empower teachers to deliver high-quality learning experiences that inspire and engage students.
Drive the use of data and emerging technologies to enhance teaching practices and improve student outcomes.
Foster a culture of excellence by supporting the holistic development of students through engaging co-curricular programs, extension activities, and real-world learning experiences.
Play an active role in the Academic Leadership Team , ensuring the alignment of teaching practices, curriculum planning, and academic outcomes across the College.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking inspirational leaders who:
Hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field with a graduate qualification in Education or a Bachelor of Education with a relevant major .
Have current registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA) .
Have proven leadership experience in an independent school setting, with a focus on excellence in student outcomes .
Have strong expertise in curriculum development , pedagogy , and data-driven teaching .
Are passionate about mentoring teachers and fostering a culture of excellence in teaching and learning.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a commitment to collaboration , respect , and service .
Each role has a teaching load and a release for leadership .
5-year fixed-term appointment , with a one-year probation and potential for renewal.
Active participation in the College's co-curricular and community engagement programs is required.
