The operation consists of a 1.8Mtpa processing plant, one active underground mine, two active open pits, with new mines started in 2024 as part of the company's 5-year plan and a vision to reach 150,000oz/pa by 2028.About the role:Reporting to the Senior Mine Surveyor, this role is responsible for providing regular surveys of the mining area to support mine planning and production activity.
This is an exciting time to join the company as we pave the way for future growth.
This will be a permanent role on an 8 days on 6 days off roster, BIBO from Perth or DIDO option available.Key responsibilities:Ensure all survey duties are carried out to conform with the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines) Regulations 2022Provide timely daily pit and underground mine surveying requirementsEnsure pits and underground tunnels are mined to design and maintain accurate records on monthly basis including reporting on end of period surveys including pit volume, underground tunnel measurements and stockpile surveysEngage in project work to optimise mining efficiencies and the provision of general surveying services to the site as requiredMinimum Qualifications:Tertiary qualifications in SurveyingSolid open-pit and/or underground experience highly regarded1-3 years' experience in an open pit and/or underground mine surveying roleProficiency with mine surveying software, with previous experience using Surpac or Deswik highly desirableA Western Australian manual driver's licenseA proactive attitude, collaborative approach and commitment to safetyCulture:If you are ready to step up to the challenges of this role, it can lead to greater opportunities for career growth and progression.
