About The Team The Animal Hospital At Murdoch University (TAHMU) offers comprehensive solutions for a range of complex issues in large and small animals.
Specialties include medicine, oncology, surgery, anaesthesia, emergency and critical care, equine medicine and surgery, farm animals and pathology services.
We also offer a primary care service for routine day to day requirements for your pets needs.
TAHMU utilises state-of-the-art diagnostic techniques and equipment, including video endoscopy, ultrasonography, digital radiography, CT, MRI, electrocardiography, blood pressure monitoring, and an on-site laboratory (VetLab), ensuring timely and accurate diagnostics.
Our fully equipped ICU provides 24-hour critical care and emergency service.
We adopt a multidisciplinary approach for holistic and patient-centred care.
Team members will regularly communicate with referring veterinarians, so the best and most convenient patient care is offered to our clients for their pets.You would be joining a team of 5 veterinary nurses, the service is open to client 08:00 -18:00 Weekdays.You will be based in our Referral Reception area, one of three receptions in the vet hospital.The administration team includes 2 receptionists, 2 administrative assistants, coordinator and IT support staff and the service is open to clients from 07:30 – 18:00.Your New Role
An example of your key responsibilities will include –Work closely with key stakeholders including patient owners and referring veterinarians, to improve services and processes in relation to their patients, for the best outcome for all.Highly effective communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, and the demonstrated ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with staff at all levels of the organisation.Excellent organisational, time and workload management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload and work autonomously.Ability to move around the hospital and seek guidance on cases where required.You will work closely with the Surgery and Medicine teams.Please refer to the Position Description for further detailsWhat We Offer You
This Fixed Term (12 months) | Full Time (37.5 hours per week) position attracts a remuneration of $83,584K – $91,632K and includes 17% employer superannuation contributions (with the option to salary sacrifice 5.5% of the 17% employer superannuation into your salary).
