Head of Sustainability (Sales & Consulting) Are you passionate about driving sustainable solutions in waste and water management?
Matter is seeking an experienced sustainability professional to join our dynamic team and help shape a more sustainable future.
About the Role As Head of Sustainability you'll drive our market presence, lead client relationships, and help all levels of commerce and industry more easily comply with the new environmental standards through new technology.
You'll oversee our waste and water portfolio to deliver exciting solutions at all levels.
Key Responsibilities Help develop and execute the sustainability consulting business strategy Drive C-suite level relationships and strategic partnerships Contribute to strategic sustainability programmes aligned with client goals Oversee project delivery and quality assurance Help with digital content marketing initiatives to enhance our market presence Provide expert advice on environmental standards including NABERS, IFRS, and climate-related disclosures Work with our dev team on comprehensive sustainability metrics and reporting solutions Contribute to business strategy development and execution Required Experience & Skills Minimum 2 years' experience in senior sustainability consulting or business development roles Proven experience in executive stakeholder management and C-suite engagement Strong track record in project management and team leadership Demonstrated success in building and maintaining executive relationships Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to drive business growth Experience in facility management (preferred) and/or client-side commercial consulting Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Personal Qualities Natural leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams Strategic thinker with strong commercial awareness Commitment to continuous learning and professional development Results-driven with excellent attention to detail Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously Passionate about sustainability and environmental outcomes What We Offer Competitive salary package Opportunity to work with world-first technologies that are transforming the industry Be part of an exceptional, collaborative team that values innovation and growth Professional development and growth opportunities Collaborative and innovative work environment Flexible working arrangements About Matter Matter is committed to creating sustainable solutions in waste and water management.
