Connecting capabilities for a truly inciting customer experience.The Head of People & Culture is responsible for partnering with business leaders, developing and implementing people and culture (P&C) strategies in line with business goals, with a focus on building a positive, engaging workplace.If you thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment and enjoy leading a team, we'd love to hear from youJob DescriptionWhat you'll be doingPartner with leadership and stakeholders to develop and execute P&C strategies in line with business goalsCoach and support the P&C team, overseeing payroll, employment-related matters and recruitment for a team of approximately 300 employees nationallyManage the bi-annual goal setting and performance review process and associated bonus scheme (HO)Manage the annual remuneration review and promotion cycleCoordinate L&D initiativesManage ER, IR related issuesWGEA annual reportingApprove monthly and fortnightly payroll including end of financial year STP reportingOversee onboarding and offboarding processesSupport and assist with recruitment practices as required, including salary benchmarkingSuccession planning and the development of career pathwaysManage the benefit, reward and recognition programsManage all aspects of workers compensation - the Return to Work (RTW) process, claim reconciliation and insurance renewalsPrepare reports and complete general administration as requiredDesired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouAt least 5 years' experience in a senior P&C generalist or manager role with relevant tertiary qualificationsSolid understanding of Australian employment lawDemonstrated success in delivering people advice and solutions that meet legal, strategic and operational needsPrevious knowledge and experience with HRIS and Payroll (ELMO knowledge an advantage)Creative marketing recruitment experience (preferred)Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills (intermediate to advanced excel skills)Demonstrated experience in stakeholder relationship managementSuperior organisational and communication skillsHigh attention to detailA flexible approach to work and a good sense of initiativeEnergetic and ability to work in a fast-paced changing multi-cultural environmentA genuine willingness to learn and lead a team of P&C professionalsSound knowledge of the WHS legislation and National Workers Compensation across all statesLife at CheilAt Cheil, we truly value our people and promote a healthy, collaborative and supportive culture.
