Northern NSW Local Health District Newcastle NSW An opportunity exists for an experienced Paediatrician to take the lead as a Staff Specialist and Head of the Paediatric Department for the Clarence Hospital Network.
Employment Type : Permanent Full Time
Position Classification : Staff Specialist Remuneration : $246,059 per annum - $332,434 per annum full time equivalent depending on experience

We work closely with Maclean District Hospital as well as other hospitals in Northern NSW and tertiary hospitals in Southern Queensland to support the healthcare needs of our community.

Selection Criteria : Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Paediatrician, and / or specialist international medical graduate pathwaysDemonstrated recent clinical experience as a Senior Medical Officer PaediatricsDemonstrated recent leadership and management experience with the ability to work with and develop a multidisciplinary clinical teamDemonstrated ability to manage staff, funding and equipment within the delegation of this positionDemonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvementAvailability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable timeApplications Close : 25 November 2024 For role related queries or questions contact Dr Harvey Lee, Director Medical Services at Email : @health.nsw.gov.au
