About the Role :
Our client's Services and Impact team is looking for a dynamic Clinical Lead for a national service to inspire a highly motivated group of social workers who provide therapeutic and psychosocial support to children, young people, and their families.
In this pivotal leadership role, you'll oversee clinical practice standards, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure robust risk management and supervision frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership: Provide expert guidance in strengths-based interventions, consult on complex cases (e.g., child protection, self-harm, domestic/family violence), and facilitate individual & group clinical supervision.
Quality & Continuous Improvement: Develop and refine policies, procedures, and the psychosocial framework, ensuring alignment with current research and evidence-based practice.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a small team (2–3 direct reports, plus matrix support for a broader team), fostering professional growth and collaboration across multiple locations.
Practice & Policy Development: Collaborate on upcoming projects, including updating procedures post-Salesforce implementation, to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Family Support: Step in to provide backup psychosocial/counseling support as needed, using narrative or solution-focused approaches, while championing dignity, hope, and resilience for families in oncology and beyond.
About You
Social Work Qualification: Tertiary degree in Social Work with AASW membership (or eligibility) with 5++ years post-qualifying experience.
Clinical Supervision Experience: Skilled in coaching and supervising social workers, particularly in complex areas such as oncology, bereavement, self-harm, and DV.
Leadership & Innovation: Proven background in leading teams, program development, and continuous practice improvement.
Collaborative Mindset: Strong ability to engage stakeholders, build partnerships, and influence best-practice outcomes.
Flexibility & Travel: Comfortable providing remote consultation/supervision via screen, with occasional travel (2–3 times/year).
Previous employment: Experience in oncology or other health-related support areas (including community agencies).
C-class driving licence: Required.
Travel: Ability to undertake some intra and interstate travel (2-3 times per year).
