Position Description - State Growth ManagerWho are we?LMG is the largest aggregator across Australia and New Zealand supporting a community of over 7000 brokers and advisers. Proudly family-owned and led, LMG supports businesses operating under their own brand or the Loan Market brand, and partners with over 70 banks and lenders. The business has grown rapidly, reaching a $370 billion loan book and helping more than 300,000 customers in 2023.We're not a conventional company with a lot of rules and hierarchy, and we don't intend to become one. We're a big company with a start-up attitude. Our success is based on hiring outstanding people and accepting nothing less than being the best at what we do.About the role:To identify quality broker businesses that will thrive within our culture and embrace the support and ambition our team has to exceed their expectations by providing them with solutions that deliver on four key promises:Save TimeFind and Keep ClientsGrow My BusinessTo successfully sign 30 new broker businesses per year that meet specific performance and quality requirements.Each recruit complies to our "Statement of Minimum Expectations" and "Compliance Standards"Each new business produces minimum revenue benchmarks across all products and servicesTo grow, engage and nurture a talent pipeline of quality brokers and business owners by working with our marketing and wider corporate team leveraging our tools and assets and satisfy new Best Interest Duty requirementsOutcomes:Successfully recruit a minimum of 10 new businesses with a target of 30 in one year and grow recruitment revenueMeet with a minimum of 10 new brokers per week (including events)Run one prospecting event per monthManage and nurture a pipeline via HubSpot using all marketing assets available to ensure pipeline activity is generating 10 new prospects and full attendance at monthly prospecting eventsPresent our LMG solutions that will address a brokering business's challenges including:Profit calculator to determine how much they could grow their businessSubscription services that will enable them to save timeReferral partner development plans that enable them to find new clientsEngagement tools that allow them to retain their existing clientsMyCRM showcase to highlight how our proprietary system can grow their business and keep them and their clients safeQualify and ensure all new businesses meet our compliance standards to ensure they and their clients are safeComply with all regulatory frameworks we provideSupport in the onboarding checklist including references and quality standardsRepresent and package products that provide clients with the best and most appropriate solutionsRepresent LMG at various aggregator/industry events and networking events in a way that exemplifies our culture and valuesWork with other teams including Broker Success Managers and corporate operations to maximise revenue and strategic valueKeep up to date and share with the business market and industry trends, insights and opportunitiesBuild trust and long-term relationships with leading brokers and lenders in the industryTo succeed in this role you will bring with you:Skills:Proficient in G-suiteFluent Communication in person, on the phone and in emailUnderstanding of financial statementsUnderstanding of all lines of lendingQualifications:Drivers LicenceDiploma in Finance and Mortgage BrokingDegree Qualified desirable but not essentialExperience:Min 3 years' experience in a similar road-based sales roleStrong industry knowledgeFinancial services experience highly desiredResidential/Commercial lending or related discipline
