Commercial Construction Site Supervisor

We represent an outstanding South Australian construction business based in the Adelaide metropolitan area.
Due to continued company growth and strategic expansion, our client is seeking a commercial construction site supervisor to manage state-of-the-art mixed-use, multi-storey commercial and apartment construction projects from Greenfields site to handover stage.
These projects are based approximately forty minutes (drive) south of Adelaide's CBD.
You will be working and collaborating within a small and capable team of construction administrators and liaising with trades, subcontractors, surveyors, engineers, and developers on a daily basis.
To be successful in this role, you must: Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well independently and within a team environment, as you will be the person driving all aspects of commercial construction projects.Have commercial construction industry experience.Possess excellent organisational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to schedule, organise, and supervise trades to ensure commercial projects are delivered within time and financial budgets.Oversee the quality of trade works to ensure the required standard is achieved and maintained.Monitor progress of works against the current construction program and ensure all trades are coordinated, from commencement of new commercial construction build through to successful handover.Have the ability to successfully communicate and deal with site surveyors and engineers as each Greenfields commercial/apartment project site will be set out by a surveyor.Possess knowledge of commercial project safety requirements and regulations with the ability to create, implement, oversee and monitor site safety plans ensuring compliance with all site procedures.Have high attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.Be competent in reading and interpreting commercial construction plans, regulations, and codes.Have an excellent understanding of commercial construction processes, terminology, and regulations, particularly for mixed-use commercial projects incorporating apartment builds to the value of $10m++ for each project.Be resilient with an outstanding ability to perform well under the pressure of time constraints.Be results-driven with a positive "can do" attitude and a friendly, helpful demeanour.Have a minimum of 5 years experience as a commercial construction site supervisor.You will be provided with: A dynamic and growing team environment.Outstanding front and back office administration support to assist you in achieving your objectives.An opportunity to learn and grow within the fast-moving South Australian commercial/apartment construction market.A market-leading salary plus superannuation and company motor vehicle with all the business tools and support required to successfully carry out your role.If you are the right person for this outstanding opportunity, please respond immediately with a brief covering letter and CV, advising us why you are the one.
