We're looking for a Payroll Officer to perform end-to-end payroll functions.
You will be supporting the Payroll Manager with daily payroll activities and be the key point of contact for payroll enquiries.
Some of the ways you'll make a difference: Assist in preparing fortnightly payrolls for multiple sites across VictoriaMaintain accurate staff employment recordsUpdate and maintain payroll recordsProcess payroll related payments, Centrelink requests, ABS surveys and information requestsManage and respond to payroll service desk queriesAssist with end-to-end fortnightly payroll processingReconcile month-end General Ledger postingAssist with relevant projects as requiredTo help you achieve this, ideally you'll have: Tertiary qualifications in a related field or relevant experienceRelevant experience working in a similar role in a high-volume and fast-paced environmentDemonstrated knowledge of general payroll practices, procedures, operations and legislationRelevant experience working on Awards, Enterprise Agreements and contracts of employment in the aged care and community services industriesExperience and understanding of taxation and/or superannuation legislationExpertise in using different payroll systems (Technology One experience desirable)High attention to detail and ability to communicate effectivelyExcellent analytical and numerical skillsWhy work with us?
