Public Practice - Senior Manager - MelbourneJob Description:
Our client is a top 100 AFR accounting firm located in Melbourne CBD.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled Business Advisory Senior Manager to complement their high-performing practice.
The firm's clients vary, ranging from small to medium-sized businesses to large groups with annual turnovers of $15–$20 million.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Business Services Manager to step up to a Senior Manager or for Senior Managers seeking a fast track to Partner.
With a clear career progression and mentorship from experienced partners, you'll have the support needed to pave the way for your future success.
Key Responsibilities: Managing a portfolio of clients including HNWI's, trusts, partnerships, and companies including various family groupsPreparation and review of complex financial statementsPreparing management accounting reports for reviewReviewing tax and FBT returns and identifying non-compliance issues from themManage, delegate, and develop junior staffProviding complex business advisory servicesReview of job and year-end tax planning advice for clientsQualifications: CA/CPA qualifiedExcellent communication skills, both verbally and writtenStrong strategic understanding of corporate structures (e.g., trust, companies, and partnerships)Commercial, professional, and ability to work in a high-performing environmentBachelor of Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or Business, ideally with a Major in Accounting5 - 7 years + experience working within a boutique, Big 4, and/or Mid-Tier accounting firm in AustraliaExperience in managing and leading junior team membersBenefits: Flexibility working arrangementsHybrid arrangements - 2 days working from homeFuture Profit Share/Equity optionsDevelopment programs – with a combination of technical and soft skills trainingYour application will include the following questions:
