We offer a genuine, trusting work environment, with the added benefit of Clinical Leads for each discipline and a hands-on senior management team, offering you support and guidance every step of the way.What's the position?We are in an exciting growth phase, and as a result we are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our multi-disciplinary team in our Maddington office on a permanent, full-time basis.You will work with the team to ensure individual and overall contract requirements are met, and collaborate with other Team Leaders across the organisation, and partners, in offering services to clients. You will lead and support the team to ensure high quality clinical support services are effectively delivered and have a clinical caseload of up to 2 days a week, depending on the size of the team you manage. A proven ability to effectively manage your time will be essential.Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinating the delivery of clinical services for your catchment area and manage a range of different funding streams, including NDIS and private sources.Providing overall team direction and management, and involvement in staff recruitment, selection, training and client allocation.Controlling administrative operations such as managing and directing enquiries, staff recruitment planning, expenditure on supplies and equipment, managing the facility.Advising senior management about measures to improve the service and operations and communicating broader strategic initiatives.Managing and responding to client and staff expectations and feedback.Demonstrate leadership, line management and support for the effective delivery of services to meet the relevant area KPI's and employment conditions for employees.Ensure effective planning and delivery of attributable hours to meet service delivery and outcomes within the contract conditions and reporting requirements for the team.Demonstrate collaborative work with other Team Leaders and other staff under direction of Senior Therapy Manager and be available to cover short periods of leave of other team leaders.Ensure the quality of services meets all relevant clinical standards and policies and strive towards continuous improvement.Maintain and update current knowledge of client services, best practice and procedures within clinical services and support that knowledge across the team, in collaboration with clinical leads and senior managers as relevant.Demonstrate an active role in all aspects in recruitment and retention with support from People, Talent and Culture team.Initiate the ongoing development and implementation of service delivery plans and outcome measures across the whole service for the team.Ensure the allocation of client caseload meets regional requirements, outcome and contract requirements and is cognisant of staff clinical expertise.Deliver therapy programmes in line with the service delivery principles and contract requirements.The duties and responsibilities within this position description may be varied by the Line Manager and/or Executive Team to meet business requirements.General accountabilities:Perform all duties in accordance with the code of conduct.Demonstrate professional and ethical conduct in representing the organisation.Ensure compliance with organisational policies.Promote health and safety in the workplace.Accept responsibility for own professional development and maintain current qualifications.Selection criteriaMandatory:Hold tertiary qualifications in your relevant health discipline, as well as registration with the relevant governing body.At least 5 years' experience as a health professional.Demonstrated leadership skills and experience.Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work autonomously, and with a wide range of stakeholders including parents, teachers, general practitioners, health service providers and government and non-government agencies, both in person and over the phone.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Flexible and patient manner.Desirable:Experience managing an allied health team.At least 5 years' experience in the disability sector.Experience using a Client Records Management (CRM) system.What We Offer?Maximise your earnings with salary packaging up to $15,900 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment - boosting your take-home pay.5 weeks of annual leave, 2 wellness days, plus an additional cultural leave day.Access to discounted gym and pool facilities across WA for you and your family.Unlock an extra 3.5 days each year with our competitive 37.5 hour work week.Long service leave after 7 years of tenure.Stay covered for less with discounted health insurance.Flexible work arrangements.Up to 4 paid learning and development days tailored to your career ambitions.Work essentials provided, from tech to uniform, plus fully compensated travel and free parking at all Therapy Focus sites.Comprehensive care; supporting your medical, safety, and mental health needs through life's ups and downs.Be curious.
