Add expected salary to your profile for insightsThe ACEREZ consortium, which includes the ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), has been appointed Preferred Proponent to design and construct the transmission line infrastructure for the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (CWO REZ), as part of Australia's energy transition, outlined in the NSW Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap.The new transmission infrastructure, which will combine high-capacity transmission lines, energy hubs and related infrastructure, will enable generators such as solar and wind farms and energy storage providers in the CWO REZ to connect to the electricity grid, providing a reliable supply of clean, affordable electricity for households and businesses across NSW while helping to meet the state's newly legislated Net Zero targets.Job Description:With a commitment to driving positive change, contributing to the evolution of Australia's green energy sector, this is your chance to be part of something groundbreakingOur Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Systems Assurance Engineer to share their expertise within our growing Engineering team. In this role, you will manage systems engineering and assurance activities, including requirements management, V&V, systems integration, and safety assurance. You'll ensure effective control of the full verification and validation lifecycle using various software tools and platforms.Key responsibilitiesPromote the adoption of systems engineering principles, tools, and techniques throughout the project lifecycle.Implement and manage system assurance activities to meet project requirements.Support the development of requirements deliverables, including RAATM and RVTM.Audit and monitor project compliance with requirements and safety assurance standards.Guide and review systems assurance deliverables from design teams and suppliers.Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure technical requirements are verified and validated.Address deficiencies, monitor non-conformances, and drive continuous improvement.Create and maintain system configuration and process documentation.Minimum Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Assurance in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.Experience in requirements management tool e.g. DOORs, Jira, Jama, Relatics or equivalent.Demonstrated experience in change control management tools and processes.Used to implement and work under the principles of AS/NZS ISO/IEC/IEEE 15288 standard.Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint and PowerBI).Excellent communication skills – written and oral.We are committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and valued.
