What this job involves: We've got an exciting opportunity for a Senior Portfolio Accountant to join us on a new client account You will assist in the financial control of a portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial properties for our client. A snapshot of the role: Liaise with Property Managers as the key finance business partner Deliver a set of financial reports for the client's asset portfolio Prepare and process journal entries Prepare balance sheet reconciliations Ensure monthly invoicing are completed on time and tenants' arrears are managed Processing client remittances Assisting with the preparation of annual budgets and outgoings recoveries Liaising with clients and attending queries Participate process improvement projects when required Sound like you? This is what we're looking for: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines. Achievement or studying towards of professional qualifications (CA / CPA) will be highly regarded Prior experience in the property industry (commercial, retail, residential or industrial) will be highly desirable Sound interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to liaise with all levels of stakeholders and clients alike Sound written and oral communication skills Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment Sound proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Exposure to asset management software such as YARDI or MRI will be highly regarded but not essential What you can expect from us: As an organisation, we don't just accept that we are a place of many different people, but we embrace it, we celebrate it, and we proactively support the needs that difference brings.
