Their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land are of continuing importance today.We work Better Together to deliver meaningful outcomes, we Grow & Improve our work every day, to ensure we Make a Difference for our community.We currently have an exciting role for you to join our Community Safety Team as a Community Safety Investigator.Key responsibilities of the position include:Undertaking highly complex investigations as an Authorised OfficerUtilising specialised skills and knowledge to make recommendations on enforcement action from investigationsAssist in the development and delivery of operational community safety programs/projectsLead moderately complex operations including the planning, execution and seizure of animalsProvide expert technical advice to the Community Safety Team and the public on community safety mattersThe successful applicant will have:Significant experience within a complex community safety or regulatory role.Experience in undertaking end to end highly complex investigations.Experience in conflict management, negotiation and mediation.Comprehensive knowledge of all legislation and associated regulations, standards and policies relevant to Community Safety functions.Highly developed knowledge in undertaking highly complex investigations including investigative process, planning and reporting.Highly developed knowledge in interview planning and techniques.This is a Level 5 position which has a current salary range of $100,784 - $105,336 per annum (plus superannuation).To apply, simply complete the application process by clicking the 'Apply' button and attach your cover letter and resume.The City of PAE values diversity and inclusion and we encourage Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples, women, people living with disability, young people, LGBTIQ+ people and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds to apply.We are committed to providing an accessible and inclusive workplace.
