About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join the Commercial Motor Team as an Assistant Underwriter, working on high-end fleet accounts.
You'll support the underwriting of motor fleets starting at 50 vehicles, collaborating with senior underwriters to assess risks, prepare quotes, and manage policy documentation.
Key Responsibilities:Assisting with underwriting tasks for high-value commercial motor fleet policies.Preparing quotes, endorsements, and renewal documentation.Collaborating with brokers to provide tailored insurance solutions.Ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and agency policies.Supporting portfolio growth and retention through excellent service delivery.Skills and Experience Required:Experience: Previous experience in insurance, preferably in motor or fleet underwriting.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of commercial motor insurance and risk assessment.Analytical Skills: Ability to review and analyse risk data effectively.Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and written skills for broker and client interactions.Teamwork: A collaborative approach to working with underwriters and other team members.How to ApplyApply via Seek or reach out directly to Daniel Petrella on or for a confidential discussion.
