About the role:
Fleetwood is on an exciting growth journey, and we are now seeking an Assistant Accountant to join our Melbourne based team.
Working out of our Dandenong office your responsibilities will include assisting with the provision of accounting services across the organisation.
This position would suit someone on their journey to obtain their CPA.
You will have the opportunity to work within a highly experienced, high performing team.
Key responsibilities will include: Assist with the month end processes and reportingOverhead variance analysis & reportingPreparation of Balance Sheet reconciliationsAssist the Management Accountants with the budget processAssist the Management Accountants with forecasting processes, including P&L and cash flow forecastingMaintenance of the job costing systemMaintenance of Fixed Asset Register, including asset additions, disposals, and depreciationAssist with Tax requirements including GST and FBTAssist with audit procedures & other matters relating to maintenance of Fleetwood Limited Groups internal and external reporting requirementsDaily banking & bank reconciliationThe successful applicant will possess the following: Bachelor in Accounting / Finance or related fieldExcellent communication skills with the ability to deal with personnel at all levels of the businessStrong attention to detailSound statistical, analytical, and administrative skillsGood computer skills, particularly with regards to MS ExcelExperience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or other ERP - Desirable but not essentialExperience with job costing - Desirable but not essentialWhy work for Fleetwood?
