Overview of role : The role will perform accounting and reporting functions ensuring efficient and effective compiling of financial information for monthly reports, forecasting and continuous disclosure.
The Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant will assist the Senior Accountant in providing financial support to the business units and their managers.
The role will include fixed asset accounting, cost accounting and monthly accounting / reporting, as well as assistance with cash management, budgeting, and tax.
Responsibilities include : Assist in the preparation of Monthly ReportingLodging Annual Tax ReportsPreparing Monthly Sales and Gross Margin AnalysisProcessing accruals and General JournalsPreparation of tailored Monthly Financial Reports and reviewsPreparation of weekly Cashflow ForecastParticipate in Group Financial Reporting programs as prescribed by MGH CFORespond to Audit enquiriesAssist with Tax & ComplianceProvide support to accounts payable and accounts receivableQualifications & experience : Degree in Accounting and CPA / CA (or working towards)2+ years of experience working in a similar financial role.Experience with ERP systems and MS OfficeExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated initiative and ability to think laterallyAttention to detail.Excellent communication skillsAdvanced Excel skillsHighly organised with the ability to prioritise and adapt to changing demands.Drivers LicenceWillingness to occasionally travel if requiredBenefits and Perks : An opportunity to make an impact with a growing and forward-thinking ASX company.A competitive salary reflective of your skills and experience.We offer an exciting Employee Benefits Platform that provides access to a range of exclusive discounts on banking, retail and healthcare, as well as novated leasing options.Access to a comprehensive health and wellbeing program.We recognise and reward employees through our monthly Value Awards Program.Continued Professional Development and training.If this sounds like you and you would like to join our team, click APPLY NOW.
