About This RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for providing advanced, comprehensive and evidence-based nursing care to patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You will also provide advice and support to the multidisciplinary staff of SCGOPHCG in the implementation of infection prevention and management principles.
You Will Be Working Collaboratively With The Infection Prevention And Management Multi-disciplinary Team To Implement a Comprehensive And Innovative Infection Prevention And Management Program.
This Includes:
Delivering specialist advice to support the implementation of infection prevention and management principles for patient, staff, and visitor safety in clinical and non-clinical services.Assessing infection risks and providing advice to support risk mitigating strategies.Delivering hospital wide, informal and formal education and training to support best practice.Supporting the Infection Prevention and Management team in managing key infection prevention and control improvement initiatives.This role reports to the Clinical Nurse Specialist of Infection, Infection Prevention and Management.
