This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent, Fixed Term, and Casual appointments at various hours per fortnight, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

Position Profile:
WACHS is excited to be expanding its child development services and are seeking Clinical Nurse Specialists with experience in either paediatric, developmental paediatric and/or community health nursing.
The position will work with Paediatricians, allied health, families, and key stakeholders to support clinical care across the outpatient and community setting for children with neurodevelopmental needs.
This is an outstanding opportunity to make a significant impact in a high demand field while working with regional families in need of these services.
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will act as a role model and consultant to nurses and other health service providers providing knowledge, clinical expertise, and best practice nursing for children with neurodevelopmental needs and their families.
Eligibility to Apply: Australian citizenship or permanent residency is an essential requirement for applicants to be considered for permanent positions in the public sector.

An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being withdrawn.

About the Pool:
Joining the Clinical Nurse Specialist pool means submitting one application to be considered for multiple positions across WA Country Health Service (WACHS).
Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
Applications will be assessed monthly with submission deadlines for each round being 4:00pm on 9 December 2024, 13 January 2025 and 28 February 2025.
If you are successfully appointed to the pool, you will be considered for all suitable vacancies in the 7 WACHS regions (Kimberley, Pilbara, Midwest, Wheatbelt, Southwest, Great Southern and Goldfields) for the duration of the pool without having to re-apply for each individual position.
Please nominate which regions you are available to work in.
Please note that FTE varies across each region and this will be discussed once suitability for the pool has been determined.
Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025.

Well-developed computing, conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills inclusive of application of best practice and research.

Eligible for/or in possession of a C or C-A class Drivers license.
Possession of or progression towards relevant post-graduate qualification in paediatric or child health nursing.
Experience and knowledge of current health issues and rural health issues.
