Responsibilities The Senior Solutions Engineer is responsible for providing exemplary pre-sales support to the sales team focusing on territory and enterprise accounts.
The Solutions Engineer will assist in driving new business from prospective and existing customer accounts within their respective assigned territory, and meeting and/or exceeding all sales quotas to achieve revenue goals.
This position will organize, plan, direct, and coordinate all aspects of the technical pre-sales engagement for the prospect.
Additionally, this position will also retain post-sales relationships and expansion of existing accounts; partnering with our Customer Success team in supporting customer satisfaction, retention and renewals.

Qualifications Required Skills/Experience Education: BS in Computer Science or equivalent experienceGreater than two years of experience as a field solutions engineer, consultant, or sales engineer in the cybersecurity industryExcellent knowledge of general networking concepts, LinuxStrong understanding of security and information event management (SIEM) and security analytics is critical.
(implementation, configuration, integration, optimization)Hands on Experience with ArcSight, SPLUNK, Net Witness, QRadar, McAfee SIEM, LogRhythm or comparable SIEM technologyKnowledge of scripting languages like Python/PerlConfident in front of customers and audiences including executive stakeholder interactionPassion for sales and tech - desire to 'grow' your solutions engineering career with a top-notch startupCoachable and able to take training/feedback with a positive approachSelf-motivated and strong work ethicClear, concise and effective communicatorStrong presentation skills and commitment to customer satisfactionDemonstrated capability to handle Proof of Concept and solution demonstrations with Enterprise level prospectsProvide exemplary pre-sales technical expertise through technical and product demonstrationsAbility to drive customer satisfaction post-sales, including value recognition, technical issue resolution, retention and renewalsAct as a business resource to the customer/prospect and provide "industry expert" executive level selling practices with consistent communication and ongoing technical consultationProactively drive Strategic and Enterprise account opportunities within key territory accountsPlay a proactive "Technical Account Management" role within target accounts including relationship and business development activitiesWork in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Product Managers, and Customer Success, the Solutions Engineer (SE) is the technical bridge between our Enterprise Business Representatives (demand generation) and their pre-sales customersTake ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online and via phoneSupport the regional Sales Organization to ensure timely and successful closing of sales to potential customersLiaison between customers and Product Management to communicate relevant feedback and customer requirementsAssist in planning and conducting mid/high-level meetings with customers and prospectsAbility to quickly learn, apply and position technical knowledge related Anomali's technology and competitor offeringsThis position is based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia and is not eligible for visa sponsorshipTravel as needed to support the responsibilities of this role.Additional experience with Threat Intelligence is preferredGovernment clearance is preferred but not requiredEqual Opportunities Monitoring It is our policy to ensure that all eligible persons have equal opportunity for employment and advancement on the basis of their ability, qualifications and aptitude.
