The Opportunity
This is a unique chance to join our business at a pivotal moment.
Working directly with me (the founder), you'll be involved in all aspects of our operations as we scale.
This role requires someone who's eager to understand every facet of the business, as you'll be instrumental in improving how we operate across all areas.
Key Responsibilities
As Business Operations Manager, you'll need to understand and potentially work across all aspects of our business to effectively optimise our operations.
This includes:
Business Systems & Process Improvement
Implement and manage new digital solutions (CRM, booking systems, websites) Create and document operational processes Design automated workflows Develop and maintain business systems Identify and implement efficiency improvements Operations & Team Development
Manage daily business operations Help build and train our growing team Support client and artist relationships Assist with strategic planning Handle various business tasks as needed Identify opportunities for business improvement Support new business initiatives Help evaluate and implement new technologies Contribute to business strategy Drive operational excellence What You'll Need
Excellent organisational and communication skills Adaptability and willingness to learn all aspects of the business Comfort with changing priorities and needs Experience in business operations and systems implementation Strong problem-solving abilities Initiative and independent thinking Strongly Preferred:
Entertainment industry experience Experience with CRM and booking systems Financial software knowledge (MYOB/Xero) Advanced competency level in using Microsoft office systems and related IT Business systems and technology What Success Looks Like
In your first 6 months, you'll have:
Gained a thorough understanding of our business operations Implemented new operational systems Led key business improvement projects Helped establish team structures Developed improved booking processes Created standard operating procedures The Path Forward
