Position Description:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and effective marketing professional with exceptional organisational and communication skills looking to build a career in financial services.
The Marketing Associate will have a dotted reporting line to, and will work closely with, the Channel Marketing Manager to play an important role in supporting the marketing efforts of the Australian business.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing support in marketing campaign execution, managing client email distributions and maintaining the suite of marketing collateral.
This role will involve collaborating with members of the APAC and Global Marketing teams.
It will also involve close partnership with internal stakeholders (such as client facing and compliance colleagues) and external vendors.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and execution of marketing plans.
Work with design and paid media agency to ensure timely production and delivery of paid media assets.
Work with external vendors in the production of email newsletters, webcasts, and client marketing campaigns.
Assist the marketing team in the execution of marketing events, including in-house functions and external conference sponsorships.
Gather and analyse metrics for marketing-related activities, assist in preparing campaign and post-event reports, manage stakeholder reporting, and deliver actionable recommendations based on findings where required.
Conduct competitor research to identify marketing trends and insights to support marketing strategies.
Coordinate with compliance to ensure all materials produced are fully compliant with regulations.
Assist with other marketing projects and activities to support the business as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or other business-related discipline.
Minimum 3 to 5 years' marketing experience in the financial services industry, ideally within asset management.
Solid understanding of the Australian investment management industry including investment products, the needs of the financial adviser audience, and the competitor landscape.
Qualities:
Exceptional project management and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines and manage competing priorities, including delivery of regular, routine tasks.
Strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
Independent problem-solving skills.
Strong team player with the ability to develop productive relationships with stakeholders across the business.
