Our venues include the Lady Banks Rooftop Bar and the Basement Brewhouse, along with diverse food offerings across Italian, Asian, and Middle Eastern cuisines, just to name a few.
The Group operates six clubs as well as a state-of-the-art 600 seat theatre, a large Grand Ballroom and an extensive range of facilities to host events of all kinds along with a commercial office tower.
About the RoleWe are seeking a versatile and proactive Marketing Specialist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude to a wide range of marketing tasks and contribute to our marketing efforts with creativity and efficiency.
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of marketing initiatives for Bankstown Sports Club's diverse venues.
This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive brand identity, accurate campaign execution, and engaging promotions that align with the club's objectives.
The ideal candidate is a creative and proactive marketer with strong project management skills and a passion for the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities IncludedVenue Marketing: Take full ownership of marketing and brand identity for allocated venues, including campaign planning, menu promotions, and targeted marketing support.Campaign Management: Develop, coordinate, and execute marketing plans that support Bankstown Sports Club's strategic goals.
Ensure that all marketing initiatives are rolled out accurately on schedule and within budget.Creative Development: Collaborate with the operations and food and beverage teams on menu development to ensure seamless rollout in alignment with venue branding and business requirements.Content Coordination: Work with the Marketing Manager to maintain an up-to-date marketing calendar and communicate planned activity effectively to key stakeholders.Promotions & Partnerships: Champion key promotional campaigns, member initiatives, sports & community initiatives, coordinating with wider teams for event and venue rollouts when required.Agencies: Brief and manage external agencies for campaigns, design, social media, website, digital, PR, photography, videography, VM, print and promotional materials.
Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure projects meet objectives.Campaign Evaluation: Review campaign performance metrics and provide insights to refine future strategies.Event Support: Assist key stakeholders in planning and executing major events and launches for your allocated venues.Visual Merchandising: Oversee agency briefs for visual merchandising, signage and way-finding to ensure consistent brand presentation across all venues and a seamless customer journey.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.2+ years experience in marketing or agency role.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.Interest or experience in hospitality, events, entertainment, and customer experience is beneficial.A marketing all-rounder with a positive attitude to any task.Strong ability to focus on key deliverables.Task-oriented with strong attention to detail.Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities.Team player with good time-management skills.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.RSA & RCG Competencies (or willing to obtain).The BenefitsBe a part of a culture that celebrates your success, where we help others to succeed and are driven to find a way to make our challenges work for us.Join a supportive and modern team built on teamwork, empowerment of others and transparency.Free, secure parking.Daily Meal Allowance to be used in venue on food, tea and coffee.Additional Wellbeing Leave each year on top of all other accruals.Ongoing in-person, on-the-job, and online opportunities to stretch yourself and continue your growth.Rewards & Recognition – We acknowledge the hard work of our people and like to reward accordingly.To apply, please submit a cover letter and resume detailing why you would be suitable for the role.
