The Role This is a great opportunity for a high-performing accounting professional looking for an opportunity to "make their mark" in a high-growth private company.
This role is a direct report to our Financial Controller and finding the right person will be critical to us achieving our ambitious growth targets.
The core mission of this role will be to own the financial reporting of the group, including corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, insurance, budget and cash flow preparation and the continued development of internal systems.

Immediate key responsibilities of the role will be:
Month-end closing processes, profit & loss, balance sheet reconciliations and accruals for the GroupPreparation of monthly Consolidated Group Management ReportsPreparation of joint venture monthly reportingSupport the development and implementation of financial strategies and financial systems to support the company's growth objectives Support develop of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure alignment with business objectivesPreparation of YE statutory financial statements and support YE external audit processPreparation and meet deadlines for BAS returns, FBT returns, PAYG, Payroll Tax and Superannuation and other statutory obligationsProvide financial analysis and insights to support decision making by senior managementOther ad hoc items as instructed by Chief Financial OfficerSkills & Experience Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
CA or CPA qualifiedStrong proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and financial reporting Systems strength is essentialMinimum 5+ years experience in a similar role Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics BC 365 is desirableUnrivalled attention to detail required Excellent organisational & communication skills Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
