About the opportunity The University is seeking applications from suitably qualified applicants to fill the position of Senior Advisor, Enterprise Bargaining.
This is a 2-year fixed term role and will report to the Director Workplace Relations.
As the Senior Advisor , you will be responsible for providing strategic advice and planning for the next round of Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations in alignment with the University's vision, values and strategic plan.
You will need to be able to deliver this work whilst understanding and helping to navigate a complex industrial environment in a period of significant change for the University.
To do well in this role, you will need to be an exceptional industrial relations practitioner and have a passion for creating best practice employment conditions that also contribute to a high trust, high performance culture.
Previous experience in designing and leading a bargaining plan/project as well as comprehensive and recent experience working directly with Unions is essential.
About you We are seeking a subject matter expert with demonstrated experience in developing and implementing innovative strategies to address evolving workplace challenges within a highly regulated environment.
A successful track record in resolving multi-faceted industrial relations issues and driving successful enterprise agreement negotiations is essential.
You will also bring refined stakeholder management expertise to the role and demonstrable skills in cultivating strong relationships with unions, senior leadership, staff representatives, and external legal advisors.
Experience in creating and leading a small support team for a negotiation and implementation of an Agreement is also essential.
