Senior Workplace Relations Advisor

Full time, 12 month fixed term opportunity Opportunity to utilise your expertise in data analysis/ reporting and provide accurate, timely and high-quality workplace relations advice Base Salary $150,628 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Senior Workplace Relations Advisor (SWRA) provides accurate, timely and high-quality workplace relations advice, coaching and support to managers in relation to compliance with the Enterprise Agreement and legislative obligations, in relation to casual staff employed by the University.
The role will be part of the Employee Payments Review project (EPR) and will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to contribute to a culture of compliance and meeting regulatory obligations within the EPR objectives and ensure consistent and seamless HR service delivery to customers.
Your key responsibilities will be to: provide expert, timely and accurate advice, coaching and support to senior management and key stakeholders on workplace relations matters work with and interpret complex industrial instruments in a key University project in relation to compliance contribute to the development and presentation of WR related education sessions to facilitate capability and skills development of those with people management responsibility throughout the University design, lead and manage a stream of work responsible for analysis, identification and remediation of underpayments contribute and participate in assurance control activities and mechanisms designed to demonstrate compliance with the Enterprise Agreement to internal auditory functions, external auditory functions and regulatory bodies.
About you bachelor's degree - in a relevant field such as Commerce/Management, Industrial Relations or Law, project/ case management skills and experience, preferably including compliance and assurance experience, with the ability to identify industrial risk and develop and communicate plans and strategies, and implement through to resolution experience in people management, including managing staff performance and development working in a complex regulatory and policy framework and writing reports and recommendations experience in interpreting and applying legislation and providing policy and legislative advice.
