**Accounting Manager CEE/AT/CH**

**Nature and aim of the position**

In this role, you will ensure full Local GAAP, IFRS as well as tax compliance for Global Blue countries across 5 jurisdictions. You will be managing 5 employees in our Shared Services Centre.

You will be responsible for financial statement compilation under IFRS, as well as local GAAPs in the region. In addition, you will be responsible for regulatory reporting towards authorities in Slovakia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia.

You will be the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, including tax authorities as well as Group Consolidation.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee the daily accounting operations.
- GAAP compliance and accurate financial statements this includes oversight to the outsourced operational accounting activities for Poland.
- Tax compliance as well as timely and accurate Tax reporting in all relevant jurisdictions.
- Contact person for all tax audits and responsible for implementation of relevant tax changes.
- Statutory reporting ensuring accurate and in time reporting.
- Month end submission according IFRS.
- Administer cash management and controlling through monitoring, managing and forecasting the company cash flows.
- Act as an internal tax expert and accountant for new products and company operations.
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

**Profile and education**
- Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting or equivalent education
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience within a multinational business, preferably proved experience of local statutory accounting in Czech Republic or Slovakia
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Professional experience in a leadership role
- Excellent analytical skills and process understanding
- High resilience and Hands-On-Approach
- Precise, structured and success-oriented way of working
- Customers focus and understanding the business
- Ability to identify problems and suggest workable solutions
- Able to think ahead in order to establish an efficient and appropriate course of action
- Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with a range of people
- Excellent English skills and preferably German, Slovak or Czech are required
