**Hostel Manager - Lead a Dynamic Team in the Heart of Vienna**:

**Salary**: Competitive and in accordance with the local collective agreement (Kollektivvertrag), ranging between €33,572 - €36,358 / year.

**Your Role**

As **Hostel Manager**, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel. You’ll manage a team, ensure high levels of guest satisfaction, and drive the overall success of the business. This role requires a hands-on, people-oriented leader with a passion for hospitality.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services
- Lead, schedule, and motivate a multicultural team
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction
- Monitor bookings, occupancy, and revenue; use hostel management software (GuestCentrix)
- Handle guest feedback and resolve issues efficiently and professionally
- Ensure compliance with Austrian health, safety, and labor regulations
- Coordinate events, activities, and community engagement within the hostel
- Collaborate with marketing to boost visibility via social media and booking platforms
- Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience within the hospitality industry at a supervisor or managerial level (minimum 1-2 years)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a strong advantage
- Ability to work independently, multitask, and manage responsibilities calmly under pressure
- A passion for travel and creating unforgettable guest experiences
- EU citizenship or valid work permit for Austria
